Bellring Games answered this directly in its official launch FAQ:

• PS5 controllers: supported
• Xbox controllers: supported

That is the strongest source for the basic compatibility question because it comes from the developer's launch information rather than a beta-era third-party guide.

Does DualSense Have Vibration and Adaptive Trigger Features?

On the PS5 version, the PlayStation product page confirms:

• vibration function support
• trigger effect support

Both are listed specifically for the DualSense wireless controller.

This article does not automatically extend those PS5 feature claims to the Windows version. A controller can be supported on PC without every console-specific haptic feature working in exactly the same way.

Does Mistfall Hunter Support Steam Input?

The selected official launch sources do not provide a specific Steam Input configuration guide.

So GameTrendDesk does not claim that you must enable Steam Input, must disable it, or should use a particular community layout. If Bellring Games publishes official Steam Input guidance later, that can be added here.

Can You Remap Controller Buttons?

No specific controller-remapping behavior is confirmed by the selected official sources used for this article. The same is true for:
