Fields of Mistria 1.0 Achievement Guide

Roadmap

Fields of Mistria currently lists 69 Steam achievements. NPC Studio says achievements are awarded retroactively from an existing save after you load it, so you do not need to restart for 1.0.

A practical order is:

1. load your old save and let Steam synchronize;
2. finish the town, bridge, seal, and shop progression;
3. build one relationship to eight hearts, then choose either Dating or Best Friends;
4. reach 10 hearts, marry, and decide whether to have a child;
5. finish skills, Museum sets, birthday gifts, money, perks, and Stillwell missions;
6. clean up time-specific achievements at the end.

Early story and town achievements

Complete the town requests as you go instead of selling every material. The achievement list spreads progression across bridges, shops, the house, the Bell Tower, and the Shrine.

Renown is cumulative. Keep using the Request Board, completing town work, filling Museum sets, and progressing the main story. For seal achievements, follow the questline in order and keep the required tools and materials available.

Friendship, romance, marriage, and family

Romantic	Reach Eight Hearts with a romanceable villager and choose to start dating.

True Love	Reach ten hearts with a romanceable villager that you are dating.
Love Is In The Air	Attend the Shooting Star Festival with a date.
I do!	Get married.
Parent	Have a child.
Time Flies	Reach your child’s first birthday.

At eight hearts, read the choice carefully: Romantic and Best Friend are separate achievements. For the relationship route, continue with a romanceable villager and choose Dating. At ten hearts, the 1.0 path adds proposal and wedding events. Marriage and children are not forced; the official FAQ says you control whether to have a baby.

The child’s first birthday is long-term content. Plan the calendar before starting the family route so you are not surprised by the wait.

Market, festivals, animals, and daily timing

Horse-Hearted	Befriend the Mistmare.
Barnyard Bounty	Upgrade Hayden’s Barn and Coop.
Master Rancher	Breed your first Tier 5 Animal.
Go To Sleep Already	Faint from staying up too late.
Close Call	Go to sleep after 1 am but before 2 am.
Happy Birthday	Give every villager a liked or loved gift on their birthday.
Gifted	Give 100 Liked and/or Loved gifts.
Thoughtful Gifter	Gift all of one villager’s Liked and Loved gifts.

Close Call is the easiest achievement to accidentally miss during normal play because most players sleep earlier. Keep a backup save, stay in a safe area, and enter bed during the listed time window. For Happy Birthday, keep the calendar and a small gift stockpile; a birthday route is easier when you have already learned each villager’s liked items.

Skills, money, essence, and perks

Perk Procurer	Acquire a Tier 5 perk in each skill.
Essential Essence	Earn a total of 10,000 essence.
Bread Winner	Earn a total of 1,000,000 tesserae.

Do not specialize too narrowly if you want Jack Of All Trades and Perk Procurer. Cook, craft, farm, and mine throughout the year; use the skill menus to choose perks that support the activities you already perform.

Museum and completion

Museum completion is a long-term collection project. Save seasonal fish, insects, crops, and rare materials instead of shipping every copy. Check the Museum menu after each season and use the current list rather than an old Early Access checklist.

Exploration, market missions, and remaining milestones

The public Steam list is the authority for the current 69 names and descriptions. A later patch can adjust or add achievements, so check the live Steam list if the in-game count changes.

Retroactive progress and old saves

NPC Studio's 1.0 notes state that achievements populate after loading existing save data. If several achievements appear at once, that is expected. Let Steam finish synchronizing before troubleshooting.

If an old save does not grant a milestone immediately:

• sleep or change areas once;
• open the relevant Town, Museum, skill, or relationship screen;
• save and reload;
• confirm the client is on the current 1.0 branch;
• do not delete the old save before testing.

How many achievements are there?

The current Steam global list shows 69 achievements.

Do I need a new save?

No. Existing saves can grant achievements retroactively after loading.

Can I earn both Romantic and Best Friend?

They are separate eight-heart choices. Plan your route and use a backup save if you want to test both outcomes.

Which achievements are the most time-sensitive?

Close Call, Happy Birthday, Love Is In The Air, Parent, and Time Flies need calendar or timing planning. The rest can usually be cleaned up through normal progression.

What is the hardest completion group?

The long-tail group is usually Museum completion, all skills, Tier 5 perks, 1,000,000 tesserae, the child’s first birthday, and all Stillwell missions. Start these early rather than waiting for the final week.
